When I saw the style post, I knew I had to recreate it. The look embodied three of my favorite items black and white stripes, a motto jacket and the color wine/burgundy. Just a reminder the F.I.A post are all based on items I already own. I stayed true to the color scheme and remixed the pieces. I used a black and white stripe instead of the white with black in the inspiration pic. The skirt is tulle in the picture, however I don't own a tulle skirt so I had to improvise. I do own a black full high low skirt and decided to go with that. When it came to accessories, the colors were on point the only difference was the bag texture. The bag I used was velvet, the pumps are suede like the inspiration pic and the necklace was black and gold. To top off the look, the pic had a wine colored jacket that I am crushing on. The jacket I have is black. I realized a cute detail, the pattern on the bag in the inspiration pic is the pattern that is on my jacket.

Style tip: Be creative with the pieces in your wardrobe. The top in this look I'm wearing is actually a dress, I placed the skirt over it.
