We decided to do a Shore Excursion and go bar hopping. The Excursion included going to 4 different bars and each bar included having a complimentary drink. We also decided that we were going to taste a little bit of the local food while at these bars so we would pick up an appetizer and share. Which was a great idea to just get a little taste in while bar hopping. Honestly we really wanted to get a taste of the conch fritters.
The first drink was a tequila sunrise.
Loved it, it was a great way to kick off the tour. We got an appetizer sampler here which included fritters, wings, fish and a kabob.
Our second stop was all about Margaritas where we had margaritas and jello shots. Now that was a lot of fun! I mean who doesn't like margaritas? We also had the firecracker shrimp here at Margaritaville can we say yummy.
The next stop was all about this blue rum punch. It was supposed to have coconut rum in it I can taste the coconut but the drink itself was delicious. This place had a combo as well which included conch fritters, wings, and fish. We also had the pleasure of taking tequila shots. I'm all about tequila shots. Pass the salt and the lime please.
The bar hopping tour was a great success. We were a little concerned when we initially got to the Bahamas. It was an overcast kind of day. However everything worked out great the tour was fun the drinks were good the food was good and the experience was even better. So if you ever go on a Carnival Cruise and you're trying to figure out what you want to do besides just going to the beach the bar hopping tour might be for you.
