seasons change, clothes change

It's been awhile since I've checked in. It's such a transitional time for me every August. Every year I take a social media break at least twice. I usually do it in January and August. January is a must and it allows me to clear my head space for the new year and plan my goals and vacations. August is necessary due to school going back in and I have to not only prep my kids, I also have to prep myself for my new students. I wear many hats and mom and Ms Taylor to my students and clients are of the most important to me. Self-Care is important and necessary for your mental and physical health. The older I get the more I realize it' not optional. I hope you take the time you need to recharge.

So lets get into this look! I keep hearing people talk about Summer being over since Labor Day is in sight. Summer lasts a bit longer here in the south. 

This Jessamine & James Off the Shoulder crop top is perfect for the fall weather here in Charleston. If you know me, I love off the shoulder everything. This would also look equally great with a denim jacket and even a blazer. I could even see it paired with a long duster. I hope the chilly weather kicks in soon. Its usually in November when our local county fair rolls in. I just love the flow of these pants and I’m always a fan of stripes. These pants are thin enough to keep you cool during the warm days and keeps you covered enough to keep the chill off during the cool nights. I am a big fan of clothes that transitional well from one season to another. With that being said these pieces will be in high rotation.
