FALL THRIFTING TIPS FROM
THE FASHIONABLE1S
I love going to the thrift store. It’s a treasure hunt for me. I’m on the look out for something unique or just
something I usually don’t see when I’m shopping. I’ve learned not to go looking
for anything specific. I would get frustrated if I couldn’t find what I
was looking for. So now I go in and
allow myself to be open to the possibilities.
1.
If you find something you like, buy it!
I’ve had my feeling hurt before trying to go back and look for something I saw.
(Nothing haunts you like the stuff you didn’t buy)
2.
Shopping is always fun with someone so grab a
friend. Lately I’ve been
going with my mom and lets just say she gets a kick out of us shopping together.
(Also, two eyes are better than one)
3. Make sure you try on your items. Nothing is more annoying thank realizing something can not be returned and it does not fit. YIKES! (Been there and done that)

Thrifting can be an overwhelming process if you aren’t mentally strong. lol. No, but really, there are tricks to winning big in the thrifting game. Go in with these three tips and you’re sure to come out a winner!
1.
Be open! With all shopping adventures if you go in with too specific of
a vision, you will likely walk away empty handed. Try on that funky
patterned dress you wouldn’t normally wear. That may be your pot of
gold.
2.
Dress for your body. We all know what shapes work for us so stay true
to that. For this reason, I hardly EVER look for pants during thrifting
trips.
3.
If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. This is huge. Sometimes
you just don’t see a single thing, and that’s totally fine. Just don’t
throw in your thrifted towel! Go back another time or better yet, try
out a new spot.

thrifting isn’t for the faint of heart, but it’s for certain for the

When it comes to thrifting I like to go with the flow
and just enjoy the ride. I don’t overthink or stress I allow each look
to come together naturally! Here’s how it all goes down for me...
1- take it all in! Look at everything because if you don’t you’d might miss the prize!
2-
Grab & Go! Whatever screams your name just grab it and go to the
fitting room! I tend to have a cart full of item but only leave with a
few!
3- Eliminate- Once you’ve tried your items on
eliminate the ones you don’t need or just aren’t you. Everything looks
different once you’ve tried it on.
