The weekend was a bit of a whirl wind. It’s always like
that when you try and do everything possible in two days. Let’s get into
what I wore and where I went. I’ve been wanting to do a DIY denim
jacket for awhile and I finally did it just in time to wear on Saturday.
I used a combination of varsity letters, rhinestone letters and large
sequins lips. I wanted a bold and sassy look. Did I pull it off y’all?
The jacket itself is one of my favorites from Macys. It’s through the
International Concepts Brand. It already had embellishments on the
front, pearls and rhinestones, oh so chic. My top is actually a dress. I
wanted a little extra coverage since the skirt detail was cut a little
high on the side. I then threw on my knee high boots and headed out. Oh
and did you check out my nail action? Love these, they were a great find
from the dollar store. I only wear nails on the weekends or to events.
So it’s alot of fun finding new designs and switching them up.
We ate at one of the yummiest places, Ms Roses. I
ordered the Fish & Grits and it was delicious. It comes with
cornbread, they have some of the best cornbread. When you go make sure you
ask for a side of honey hot sauce I love it on my food. They also have a
great selection of Mimosa Flights. The newest flavor I tasted was the
Blood Orange flavor and I loved it.
The great thing about brunch is always the great
conversations and the good food! Can’t wait to see and taste the next
spot! Thanks for checking in. Next time try a project you’ve been
putting off or grab a bite to eat at a new spot. ❌⭕️❌⭕️-Telisha #thefashionabletraveler
