It was all good just a week ago. You can’t blame me if now all my birthday celebrations have to be in a rooftop. Especially when you had as much fun as I did. Last Sunday was my official birthday and I spent it in the best way possible. One of my forever friends, Missy. We always have the best time when we link up. It was such a great day filled with a gorgeous view, great company and some of the yummiest sips and bites in the city.
This was my 1st time at the Citrus Club in The Dewberry, located here in Charleston, SC. I always love trying something new with friends. It makes for the best experiences. The rooftop space is gorgeous and spacious. It’s filled with citrus trees and an amazing city view. The weather was a bit of a overcast but the temperature was perfect. Having a rooftop moment this Summer was on my list. I’m so grateful we got it in right before Summer officially ended. It was a great way to celebrate.
We sipped on cocktails and bubbles bit into all kinds of yumminess, lol I think we tried almost everything on the appetizer menu. Which is always my favorite way to taste what’s at a bar. My favorite cocktail was the Mai Tai. I have to say the Pina Colada Shrimp and Crab dip was delicious. I’m a seafood girl so they were a must try. The Beef patties and Jerk Tacos were flavorful and those fries were so tasty. It all ended with a sweet treat, the Luau Pie. It was the coffee ice cream that did it for me! its a must try so many layers of flavor its the perfect treat. We felt like we were on a tropical getaway and had the best time. All the yumminess is at the Citrus Club and the service, phenomenal. It’s always a treat when the food, service and atmosphere is great.
