Reflecting on 2016

It's the most wonderful time of the year! It's great enjoying friends, family and looking back on the year all while getting ready to celebrate the new. Here are a few things to keep in mind for the new year and your new goals.

When you hear the saying to speak things into existence, do that! I have experienced a lot of growth this year and I know that's been a big part of it. It's also true, you should prepare yourself for what you pray for. Sometimes life comes at you fast and you don't realize, it was what you asked for but you failed to plan for it. You need to be ready to take action when your blessings start to roll in.

At the beginning of 2016, I stated I want to be a brand ambassador, I want to work with brands and build my own brand. I became a brand ambassador for Curvy Girl Chronicles and I now work with brands and grew my own brand and just recently revamped it to match my growth. The Fashionable Traveler speaks to what my brand is and where I'm going. 

I have to give thanks to Scaled Up Apparel LLC for being the first brand that rocked with me. 

I am truly grateful.

Let's talk about this Ankara full skirt. It is one of my favorite pieces. It's bold, I like that! I actually received this as a birthday gift from Scaled Up in September. When I opened the package I knew, this was gonna be my holiday skirt. The colors and patterns screamed Christmas time, I couldn't wait to rock it! 

Style tip: Go Bold! Don't be afraid to try out bold colors and patterns of different styles. This is my first skirt like this and I love it!
