I took a little road trip this weekend to Charlotte North Carolina. We actually call it Queen City down here in the south. I love visiting Charlotte for quite a few reasons. One in particular is one of my best friends since 7th grade lives there. I also love it because it has a really fun night life and it also have a lot of great eats. So we found a few brunch spots over the weekend and 300 EAST was one.

Doesn't this Cajun Shrimp and Grits look delicious? It was really good.  What was very cool is I found this place for us to go try. My best friend Simona, actually lived in Charlotte for quite a few years and she has not tried a lot of the different local restaurants there. So it's always cool to try new things with your friends and it just makes it that much more enjoyable.

This was one of the most relaxing weekend I've had in a while. I know I wanted to kind of take it slow and easy on the trip. I know I wanted to kind of unplug for a little and that's just what I did on that Friday when I got there. I decided to go ahead and check into a room and spend the night there. Then when the morning came I got up and met my friend and we hit the town. There is so much to see and do there.  We went to brunch checked out the mall and also checked out the nightlife a later on that night. Oh and did I mention that we had a ball! That probably was the most mixing up that the both of us have done in a while.

I definitely think that this is one of my favorite road trips. It turned out to be a laid-back and casual and that's the vibe that I was looking for.  I kept is simple all weekend jeans and tank, it's fall but in the south we are still in the high 80s here. Not to mention simplicity works everytime when traveling just keep it cute. I definitely have noticed that all vacations and trips are not equal. And my opinion vacations are more laid-back relaxing and slow-paced and trips are Full Speed Ahead. You are definitely trying to see whatever do whatever and not miss a beat when you're on a trip. So you have to be kind of mindful for when you're planning to at least take a day or half a day the kind of just take it all in any situation. I'm all about the experiences and always looking forward to making new memorable ones. Thanks so much for reading ❌⭕💋💕. -Telisha
