I have to admit I hopped up on day 3! I was excited that
the rain stopped and it was bright and sunny! Both of my afternoon
events were outside. Did I mention waterfront? This was the perfect day
to be outdoors.
The
1st event of the day was “Cans & Kegs” this was truly a fun one. I
love the casual vibe of wine in a can when hanging outdoors. It’s more
laid back and fun. This venue was amazing and it had a great view.
Patriots Point is gorgeous. Their was even a live band. Yummy bites and
their were so many sip options. My favorite bite had to be the Bourbon
Glazed Donut y’all that was so good! You know what else was the Focaccia Pugliese Flatbread from Vincent Chiccos, talk about a flavor explosion, I loved it. My favorite sip was the Blood
Orange Wine Spritz. I also loved the Red Blend from Bridge Lane.
The
2nd event “Shucked” was for the seafood lovers. Their was Shrimp,
Crawfish and Oysters oh my! I’m definitely a seafood girl so give me all
the shrimp and all the oysters. Their were some amazing cocktails over at this one. I have to say the bourbon cocktails had me at this event.
The seafood boil was a hit of course. It had the right amount of kick, I
love when its spicy. So those cold cocktails came in handy. This was
definitely a Bourbon & Boil event for me! You see what I did there. I made several trips through those two lines.
I
have to say these events were great. I think these two are on the top
of my list. The venues were gorgeous. The food and beverages were
plentiful. I enjoyed the live music and also enjoyed meeting new people.
The experience overall was a great one. I would definitely suggest
these two if you love social events. Dont forget to " SAVE THE DATE 3/3/2021" That's the start of Charleston Wine + Food for next year. I hope to see you there! Thanks for checking in and checking out the latest recap. Next week will be all about Day 4.
Have a taste filled day! -Telisha
