Celebrating the good times despite the bad. Honestly saying it is quite the mouthful. You have to find reasons to smile and reasons to celebrate even win no one is presenting them to you you have to go on a six them yourself. I guess they one of the highlights of the season was meeting up with some blogger girls to have a holiday brunch.
It’s always exciting to experience new 1st with friends. A local restaurant called Handcraft, located in Mount Pleasant, SC has an annual event. It’s called “Miracle Pop Up” they introduce festive cocktails and put up lots of holiday decorations. I knew I wanted to check out this year and decided to let my girls know so we could experience it together.
The day turned out great to be gorgeous. It was perfect patio weather so we decided to sit outside. Our day started with cocktails and they were amazing. I definitely had to go with the "On Dasher" because Bourbon has become my new love and that was the base for this cocktail.
When it was time to order the food I went with the Chicken and Waffle which was delicious. I’ve been on a waffle kick for the whole month of December and this was great. It was a Brown Butter Pecan Waffle with a Fried Chicken Thigh. Can you say double YUM! Needless to say we had a yummy time and it was great being able to catch up and connect for the holidays.
