Have you ever bought something, go home and you didn't like the fit? You may have liked the color or the texture or even just the idea of it? That is what this post is about.

When I purchased this long sleeveless sweater with high splits, I had great plans for it. When I tried it on, those plans went out the window. It jus layed on my body, shapeless and a bit frumpy looking. However; I loved the color and the texture of it. The burnt orange was perfect for fall and it was so soft. So in the infamous words of Tim Gunn I decided to "MAKE IT WORK"!

I decided to put a skinny belt on with it and put on a pair of my favorite jeans. The slits came up mid hip, so either leggings or jeans was a must. I also decided to tuck in one side of it to give it more shape. I paired it with my faux leather jacket. It gave the sweater a more stylish and fun look. I luv it.

Styling Tip:

Sometimes you have to make adjustments to items you buy. You make it work for you and your body type and for the look you want to present when wearing it.

My advice: Don't take fashion so seriously that you stress out about it. When you stress out about it, you take the fun out of it. Have fun. ~ Telisha Renee'
