Being in the last quarter of the year I’m starting to have mixed feelings. I'm sure I'm not the only one. It’s one of those things where you feel really good about how far you’ve come, yet in the same breath you think about how much more you can be do doing. I’ve accomplished a lot this year. My word for 2018 was expand.  I did just that. I’ve managed to create a space to support other local bloggers. I’ve also started to help small business owners and beginning bloggers increase their online presence and showcase their brands. Even with that being said I still have my moments that I’m not doing enough.  So what I’ve been doing to help me process these feelings is praying and planning. There’s only two months left in 2018 so I’ve started planning for 2019. These plans include family plans first. Plans with my friends. Then the blogger business plans I have.  My support and my foundation is my family and my friends and if you know anything about foundations you know it’s very important that you keep it solid.  These are the people that consistently supported me and hold me up during any transitional period that I’m in. I would not be able to accomplish 90% of the things I do with out support from them. Let’s talk about this look enough talk about feelings.

If you’ve been following me for quite some time you know I have a love affair with animal print. My favorite would be leopard print.  I also have a thing for snake print and zebra print.  One of my favorite things to do is to mix patterns and prints and even textures. I’m a true believer that fashion should be fun. I’m all about experiencing new looks.  Clothes have a way of bringing out hidden personality traits that you may have and not even realize it. It’s as simple as the way you present yourself and wear a certain look. When I wear animal print I always feel edgy and chic. I am completely smitten with this scarf. It just so happens to be a birthday gift from my son.  I’m so happy that fall has kicked in so it will be on repeat like no other. I’ve been doing slight transitions for the season like adding this scarf with a summer dress and then adding boots. The weather here is very moderate so you can easily get away with this look during the day. I would say keep a motto jacket handy or a leather jacket. It would also level up this look. Try some new patterns and prints and incorporate them into your style. Until next time it’s okay to have mixed feelings and mix fashion. Have a Fashionable Day!
