I love trying new foods and cocktails. Checking out Bumpas was a treat. They’re new to the Charleston restaurant scene and they brought big bold flavor with them! They are perfectly placed on Cumberland street near a parking garage. If you’ve visited or lived in Charleston you know how this made me feel, overjoyed! Y’all I hate looking for parking. It’s a gorgeous space, the combination of rich dark woods and brick filled the space. You have to check it out for yourself. You would never guess it was converted from a warehouse.

So let’s talk Sips and bites! We sipped on some perfect Summer cocktails and tried out their signature “Fry Plates”  “Shake your tailgate” is a must try. The fries were topped with buffalo chicken, blue cheese and jalapeños ...ohh and it gets better, the put chili on top.  Oh, how I love big flavors.  If you're into spice and kick when it comes to your bites this is the plate for you.

Now let's get into this cocktail. It's called Maureen O'hara's Left Hook and it did not disappoint when it came to flavor. I love a Moscow Mule, it's my go to cocktail. So this made me happy. Also, this was the perfect blend, to make a perfect Summer cocktail. Combining Vodka, Averna, Strawberry, Rosewater, Ginger, Lemon Juice, Sparkling water. Now, tell me that doesn't sound delicious. It's worth a try so go ahead and put it on your list.  Thanks for checking in and checking out this post.

Until next time, I hope you have some taste filled days ahead.
